Overview
NotchX ("we", "us") is a macOS desktop application distributed by CodeJ2. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. We are committed to collecting as little data as possible.
Data We Collect
NotchX does not collect any personal information by default. The app operates entirely on your device. No analytics, telemetry, or tracking is sent to our servers during normal use.
When you purchase a license, our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy) collects your email address and payment information. This data is governed by Lemon Squeezy's own Privacy Policy.
Permissions
NotchX requests macOS system permissions (e.g. Accessibility, Media Library) only to power the features you use. These permissions are processed locally on your device and are never transmitted externally.
Crash Reports
If the app crashes, macOS may generate a diagnostic report that you can optionally submit to Apple. We do not receive these reports automatically.
Third-Party Services
Our website (notchx.codej2.com) may use standard web analytics to understand aggregate traffic. Individual visitors are not tracked or identified.
Data Retention
We do not store personal data on our servers beyond what Lemon Squeezy retains for billing and fraud prevention purposes.
Your Rights
